It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Oscar Todd, a recent graduate of The King’s School, who died following a serious injury in North Queensland.
Oscar reportedly sustained the injury on April 4 and, despite the efforts of medical staff, passed away on April 6. His death has left the school community and loved ones in mourning.
A respected member of his House, Oscar was appointed House Monitor in his final year and was known for his leadership, creativity, and strong character. He was a gifted visual artist, a dedicated sportsman, and actively involved in rugby, rowing, and the school’s cadet corps.
Tributes describe him as warm, humorous, and deeply admired by both peers and staff. His passing is a heartbreaking loss to his family, friends, and the wider school community.
